Maryam Mahmoud Al-Jundi reveals the secret of hiding her relationship with her late father

Young artist Mariam El Gendy revealed during her interview with media figure Sherihan Abu El Hassan on ON TV from the New Alamein Festival the secret behind her not talking about her kinship with the late artist Mahmoud El Gendy, confirming that fear of the public’s reactions to her artistic level and the extent of their acceptance of her work was one of the reasons for hiding her relationship with her late father.

She added that she wanted to prove her talent through the effort she puts in to achieve success, not to look for an easy way out, because she is the daughter of the artist Mahmoud El Gendy.

K indicated that if she had wanted to follow the second method, the path would have been easier for her in some matters, saying: “When people knew that I was Mahmoud Al-Jundi’s daughter, I was very nervous, and at the same time I was happy when I found someone who prayed for mercy for him because of something I published.”

The artist Mariam Al-Jundi recalled her childhood, saying that her father, Mahmoud Al-Jundi, was the one who discovered her talent when she was young, as he saw some talent in her, and wanted to make sure of that, so he started trying her at home, and felt that she loved acting, and she accompanied him behind the scenes of his work, and understood what was going on on the filming locations.
