Rumors are mounting about Brazilian star Endrick's future at Real Madrid, after coach Xabi Alonso continued to exclude him from the squad this season, potentially opening the door to his departure during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Endrick joined Real Madrid amid much fanfare after his impressive performances with Palmeiras, arriving in the Spanish capital in July 2024 in a deal worth €47.5 million.

Endrick has been compared to Brazilian legends Ronaldo and Pele, but he has yet to play a single minute this season despite being fit for over a month.

It's worth noting that Endrick played 37 matches for Los Blancos last season, scoring seven goals in just 847 minutes, but he's still searching for a place in the starting lineup.

He stated that the young player had suffered a hamstring injury that prevented him from participating at the beginning of the season, but upon his full recovery, he found himself sitting on the bench for five consecutive matches.

Coach Alonso stated that Endrick was "close to starting," but ultimately left the field in Real Madrid's 3-1 win, adding: "Endrick has a great sense of goal and special abilities, but the competition within the team is strong. He has fully recovered and is training hard, and his time will come soon."

With the January transfer window approaching, the 19-year-old's future appears to be on the line as Endrick seeks to regain his place in the Brazil national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, but he knows his dream will remain elusive if he continues to sit on the bench.

Several European clubs have expressed interest in signing him, most notably West Ham United, who are considered the most likely to conclude a loan deal, while Real Sociedad and Valencia previously expressed interest in signing him last summer.
