Ahmed Helmy: Respecting age is the secret of success, and I may participate in Ramadan 2025

The artist Ahmed Helmy revealed the reasons for his continued stardom during his participation this Sunday morning, in a discussion session entitled “Secrets of the Film Industry: The Dynamic Relationship between Literature and Cinematic Adaptation,” within the activities of the International Conference for Arab Publishing and Creative Industries, in its third session, which is currently being held in Abu Dhabi. Ahmed Helmy reveals the secret of success The Egyptian artist explained that the first reason for success is keeping up with development and means of communication, because stopping at the same point will make his choices wrong and inappropriate for the cinema audience, the majority of whose patrons are young people. “Cinema is very largely based on young people, but it requires a specific equation.”

“Helmy” stressed that the artist must present what is appropriate for his age with content that suits him, and not try to be selfish in order to win the cinema audience category. On the contrary, when he chooses well, he will gain the respect and admiration of different groups and generations, stressing that presenting a young age stage conflicts with his age and appearance. The hero will fail, of course.

The “XLarge” hero continued his talk about the successful cinematic equation, saying: What is happening and its magnitude. It will be useful to you as an actor and you will have sufficient experience to judge the scenario. Is what you have really suitable or is it an old artistic version that is contrary to the current situation? Does it include standards? Find out the level of sophistication, how young people talk on the street, joke with each other, social media, etc., and ultimately give them a story they will like.”

Possible participation in Ramadan 2025 Ahmed Helmy said: “I love movies more than dramas, and I feel that movies have a special, permanent and ongoing magic, and this is true, as they have begun to occupy the center of attention, and this is what they enjoy from a large number of viewers watching, and the platform also gives them the opportunity to spread, so that Viewers have the opportunity to watch any work from all over the world.”

He continued: He added: “We would like to present this series during the month of Ramadan, so preparing for the project will take at least a year and a half before filming, and there is also a possibility that I will participate in Ramadan 2025, but my final position has not been decided yet.”
