Ayman Zidane is honored with the Bride of the Mediterranean Medal

The management of the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries, in its 40th session, scheduled to be held from October 1 to 5, 2024, announced that Syrian artist Ayman Zidane was crowned with the Bride of the Mediterranean Medal.

Zidane is scheduled to receive his honor during the opening ceremony of the Alexandria Festival, which will be held on the first of next October, at the Library of Alexandria, at eight o’clock in the evening.

He was crowned the best Arab actor for the movie “The Father” at the Oran Film Festival. He also won the Best Arab Actor award for the movie “The Father” at the Alexandria Film Festival, and the best Arab actor for the movie “War Travelers” at the Jerusalem International Film Festival.

Among his most prominent works is directing several theatrical works, including The Clown, The King is the King, The Planners - Ras al-Mamluk Jaber, and The Journey of Handala.
