Fares Yaghi: These reasons encouraged me to take part in “Al-Qadar”

Fares Yaghi revealed many reasons that motivated him to be one of the stars of the series “Al-Qadar”, which is currently being shown on Shahid, MBC and CBC channels.

Reasons for Fares Yaghi's participation in "Al-Qadar" Yaghi said: “After I read the script, I was enthusiastic about the character because she is ambitious despite going through many psychological and social circumstances that affect the character and change it. Therefore, I found that she is a pivotal character and an essential element in the story itself, and there are many details in her that prove my ability to diversify and differ.”

Chemistry brings together Fares and the heroes of the work The second reason revealed by Yaghi is his love for dubbed drama, saying: “I am one of the first young Syrian actors to take on leading roles in this type of drama, so I wanted to return to my audience with a different and new character than what I have presented before, and there are certainly other motivating reasons, including the presence of a distinguished work team. I have previously cooperated with the artist Dima Kandalaft, who is a distinguished personality, and a strong friendship developed between us after working with her in the series “Al-Arabji”, as well as the artistically distinguished actor Milad Youssef and the humanly humble Qusai Khouli, from whom I learned a lot. He is a cooperative person and I felt that he was an older brother to me, and this appeared on the screen through the chemistry between us and the great friendship and kinship relationship as if it were real, in addition to the presence of the beautiful star Razan Jammal, so it was a complete experience that was difficult to refuse.”

How Fares Yaghi prepared for work As for preparing for the character, Fares Yaghi explained that the character of “Tim” required a lot of effort from him, saying: “I was keen to present this character in its appropriate form, whether through clothing, appearance, tone of voice, psychological reactions, and the way he deals with others. He is a gentle person who is spoiled by his family and has no worries or problems, but circumstances force him to change his behavior and his view of people. I needed to understand this complex character, and I have been very happy so far with the audience’s reactions to the series in general and the character of “Tim” in particular.”

How does Fares Yaghi choose his roles? As for how he chooses his roles, Fares said that there are criteria that he adheres to, saying: “My real artistic launch was through the series “Wardat Al-Shamiya”, and after that I had the opportunity to participate in “Bride of Beirut”, which was a major reason for my Arab fame, and after that the series “Al-Arabji” in its two parts, so currently I am trying to choose my roles after these distinctive roles, as I always look for the role that discovers new aspects that no one knows about and that are a challenge for me, in addition to the fact that I focus on the work team, whether actors or director, as well as the nature of the dramatic text, as all of these are factors that contribute to success.”

It is worth noting that the series “Al-Qadar” is the Arabic version of the series “Game of Fate” and achieved great success after a week of its showing. It stars Qusai Khouli, Dima Kandalaft, Milad Youssef, Fares Yaghi and Razan Jamal.
