For the third time.. Basil Al-Khatib and Hayat Al-Fahad together in a new work

Filming of the Gulf series “My Mother’s Thoughts” began in Kuwait a few days ago, under the direction of director Basil Al Khatib.

A new work brings together Basil Al-Khatib and Hayat Al-Fahad This work is the third that brings together Kuwaiti artist Hayat Al-Fahd, after the series Lion of the Island in 2006, and Margaret in 2021.

With this, Al-Khatib returns to work in Gulf drama after a long absence from it, as it includes a large group of Gulf stars, including: Ibrahim Al-Hasawi, Shaima Ali, Reem Arhama, Hilda, Zahra Al-Kharji, Hussein Haddad, and others. It is produced by Al-Fahd Foundation and under the general supervision of Youssef Al-Ghaith.

Honoring Basil Al-Khatib at the Diyafa Festival On the other hand, Al-Khatib will be honored during the activities of the eighth session of the Diyafa Festival, which will be held on the 26th and 27th of November in Dubai and is dedicated to the spirit of the poet Nizar Qabbani. Al-Khatib previously presented his career with a dramatic work bearing his signature, and he will receive an honor for creative excellence, and thus he is considered the first Syrian drama and film director to win this award.
