George Wassouf performs the first concert of his US tour today.

Today, Saturday, the Sultan of Tarab, George Wassouf, announced his first concert in the United States of America, in Detroit, the largest city in Michigan.

It is worth noting that the Sultan of Tarab will perform a large number of his distinctive tarab songs, including “Keda Kifaya,” “Bet’abni Ala Kalma,” “Khasart Kol El Nas,” “Bostani Bel Yom Wal Yomain,” “B’teen Kol El Nas,” and others.

In another context, George Wassouf mourned the passing of Lebanese artist and composer Ziad Rahbani, who passed away last July at the age of 69.

George Wassouf wrote on his personal Instagram account: "The genius Ziad has passed away. The creative Ziad has passed away. Your works will remain immortal and your great art will remain in the hearts and minds of generations. My deepest condolences to our mother, Fairuz, the Rahbani family, and all your fans, Ziad."

Sultan of Tarab, George Wassouf, celebrated his son Hatem's wedding amidst a happy atmosphere. George Wassouf was seen receiving congratulations from his artist friends and family members at the wedding. He was also seen sitting on a chair celebrating with his son Hatem and his bride.
