Hend Sabry: We are all Number 1 and we all succeeded

The star Hend Sabry sparked positive controversy with her frank comment about the race for stardom and the “trend” that the art scene is witnessing.

Hend Sabry: We are all Number 1 and we all succeeded During an interview with the Cinematheque program on the Saudi SBC channel, Hind said: “We are all Number 1 and we have all succeeded.. No... This is social media, and this is one of its flaws.”

She explained that real success is made by the audience and not the individual alone, considering that fake success has become common in light of the dominance of social media. She added: “You know inside yourself when success is real and when it is fake.”

Hend Sabry: I don't like to focus on that. When talking about competition in the artistic field, Hind confirmed that all artists face competition, but she prefers not to be concerned with it.

She said: “There are people who focus on you a little too much, and I don’t like to focus on that,” noting that the negative energy resulting from envy or assumptions prevents a person from progressing.

She added: "I want to keep my energy clean," stressing the importance of focusing on work and creativity instead of being preoccupied with what is said behind the scenes.
