“I consider them my family.” Kazem Al-Saher tells of the Egyptians’ positions towards him

Star Kazem El Saher expressed his happiness with his participation in the second session of the New Alamein Festival, and spoke about his positions with the Egyptian public, describing the people as “like their family.”

Kazem El Saher talks about his relationship with the Egyptian public Al-Saher said in an interview on the sidelines of his concert in El Alamein, Egypt: “My relationship with the Egyptian audience is a strange and strange relationship. To this day, I do not forget when I entered Egypt and there was a siege imposed in my country, Iraq. Families would bring me food, and I would tell them that the siege is not against me.”

He continued, “They would defend me incredibly well. If someone wrote about me, even in the press, the journalist’s family is the one that defends me against what he wrote. I truly consider the Egyptians my family, and I lived for many years in Egypt and have friends whose friendship I still maintain.”

The Iraqi artist also thanked all those responsible for the festival, saying: “Thank you for hosting, thank you for the beautiful reception, and thank you for transforming the El Alamein area from a city of war and mines into a city of wonderful cultural festivals of this great and great level.”

Kazem Al-Saher added: “It is a great and happy thing for every artist to come to such an edifice. I was surprised at first when they told me that I would come here, and I thought that the theater would be simple, but when I saw the theater I found that everything was thought out with amazing precision.”

The concert witnessed several funny scenes between Kazem Al-Saher and his fans. One of these situations was with a child who was present at the concert, when she asked him to sing all the poems related to his songs. Then Al-Saher was amazed that she was a child, so he asked her about her age, and she surprised him that she was only nine years old.

Al-Saher expressed his happiness that she knew his songs, and said to her: “You are 9 years old and you have my song portfolio!”
