Who is Mimi El Sherbini? Mimi El-Sherbiny, whose full name is Mohamed Abdel Latif El-Sherbiny, was born on July 26, 1938. He started his football career with the Cairo club Al-Masry in 1953, before being discovered by Al-Ahly scout, Abdel Moneim El-Baqal. He joined Al-Ahly in the 1957-1958 season and stayed with them until his retirement in the 1970-1971 season. During this period, he achieved four Egyptian Premier League titles and three Egypt Cup titles with the team.
