In cinema... Rania Youssef recounts the behind-the-scenes story of her first meeting with her husband.

Actress Rania Youssef revealed details of her first meeting with her husband, executive director Ahmed Gamal, which began in the cinema.

During her interview with ET Bel Arabi, Rania said: "On my first vacation, I asked him to invite me to the cinema, and that was our first meeting."

For his part, Ahmed Gamal recounted the situation in a funny way, saying: “She was the one who chose the movie, and it was really bad, and that’s what made us talk to each other, because if the movie was good, we wouldn’t have been able to talk.”

He added that he confessed his love to Rania Youssef during their second meeting, and that was when their romantic relationship began.

Who is Ahmed Gamal, Rania Youssef's husband?

Ahmed Gamal began his career as an engineer before deciding to shift his career to the world of art and directing, where he participated in a number of prominent theatrical and television productions.

He started his career with the artist Ahmed Bedier in the play "Morsi Wants a Chair", and from there he embarked on a long career in the artistic community.

Jamal participated in important works with the leader Adel Emam, such as: Nagi Atallah's Band, Al-Araf, Saheb Al-Saada, Valentino, and Hidden Worlds.

He also worked as an executive director on the series "Al Hashashin" starring Karim Abdel Aziz, and as an assistant director on "Abu Al Banat".

On the artistic front, Rania Youssef is preparing to premiere her latest work, the series "Link," which explores the issue of cyber fraud and its devastating impact on individuals and families, through a social drama that blends suspense with contemporary reality.

The series is produced by Emma Line, and stars a group of stars, including: Sayed Ragab, Mimi Gamal, Farah El Zahed, Mahmoud Yassin Junior, Mina Abu El Dahab, Salim El Turk, Ahmed Siam, Lina Sofia, and Aya Abdel Razek. The work is written by the "G" workshop, led by writer Mohamed Galal, and directed by Mohamed Abdel Rahman Hamaki.
