Jaafar Al-Omda and despite the law.. Iman Al-Assi reveals new details

In her interview on the “Sahibet Al-Saada” program with the artist Esaad Younes on the “dmc” channel, the artist Iman Al-Assi talked about the great challenges she faced during the filming of the series “Baghm Al-Qanoon”, which represents her first absolute championship in drama. She also revealed the threats she was exposed to because of her role in the series “Jaafar Al-Omda”.

Challenges faced by Iman Al-Assi in “Despite the Law” Iman stated that she was hesitant about some details of her character in “Baghm El-Qanoon” before filming began, but director Shady Abdel Salam insisted on his artistic vision and convinced her to stick to what he had planned, noting that these decisions were among the things that the audience liked the most. She added: “Shady Abdel Salam is known for not giving up on his vision no matter the circumstances, whether the filming was exhausting or the location was not suitable, he insists on implementing what he sees as necessary.”

Iman Al-Assi also explained that she spent 18 days away from her home and her daughter, Retaj, during filming, and described it as a difficult and tragic period because she was not used to sleeping outside her room.

Iman talked about her most difficult scenes in the series, including the scene where she slaps the character “Akram,” played by artist Mohamed Al-Qas, stressing that this scene was expressive of the pain the character felt. She also talked about the scenes that bothered her, such as the morgue scene that made her extremely afraid, and the abortion scene that was filmed in a real clinic, which added great realism to the scene.

Iman Al-Assi received threats because of “Jaafar Al-Omda” During the meeting, Al-Assi revealed that she received threats because of her role in “Jaafar Al-Omda,” which made her hesitate to go out into the street sometimes. She pointed out that the great success of the series is due to the popularity of the artist Mohamed Ramadan and the director Mohamed Sami.

Iman Al-Assi and her relationship with her daughter Retaj Actress Iman Al-Assi stated that her entire life revolves around her daughter, “Retaj,” noting that disagreements between them are part of daily life, and are often about things like her hair and clothes. However, they enjoy working together on “Tik Tok” videos, as “Retaj” has become a large audience that interacts with her more than her mother, and people are keen to take pictures with her.

During her appearance on the “Sahibet Al-Saada” program with artist and media personality Esad Younes on the DMC channel, Iman Al-Assi explained that she cannot change “Retaj’s” habits, including that she cannot sleep unless she is in her arms. She added that she feels very happy when she sees her daughter enjoying going out with her friends.

Iman pointed out that when she was 18, she used to take her sister’s car without her knowledge to drive it, and revealed that she loved involving “Retaj” in the kitchen to teach her to be self-reliant.

For her part, Retaj spoke during the episode, saying: “When we quarrel with mom, we make up quickly. She burns the rice a lot, but I know how to cook. I have been playing soccer for two years, and I also love squash. I go to the club with mom a lot, and I support Al-Ahly club like the whole family. I can’t stay in the apartment without mom, and I love sleeping in her lap.”

Regarding her future, Retaj said: “I am not thinking about acting now. I want to be a pediatrician, and I hope that my mother is happy and loves herself as much as she loves me.”
