Karis Bashar and Qusai Khouli will meet in Ramadan 2026

The duo Qusai Khouli and Karis Bashar are preparing to return together to participate in the Ramadan 2026 drama season, through a new work produced by Al-Sabah Brothers Company, after 7 years of their last collaboration.

Qusai Khouli and Karis Bashar in 2026 This is the third collaboration between Karis Bashar and Qusai Khouli, after the duo co-starred in the 2018 series "Harun Al-Rashid," while their first meeting was in the 2009 series "Alive."

Al Sabah Brothers has not yet revealed the series' title, but it has been agreed that it will be directed by Syrian director Rami Hanna, bringing back the makers of the series "Alive", which won audiences' admiration through the love story between Nour, played by Qusai Khouli, and Nasma, played by Karis Bashar.

The show's creators have not revealed the start date for filming the series or the rest of the cast members, but preparations are expected to begin in the next few months in order to be ready for the Ramadan 2026 broadcast.

This collaboration comes after Qusai Khouli recently trended on social media with his series "Al-Qadar," the dubbed version of the Turkish series "Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün," which aired on Shahid. Audiences interacted with the series enthusiastically, and Razane Jammal and Dima Kandalaft co-starred in it.

Meanwhile, Karis Bashar was the talk of the town due to her striking role in the TV series "Under the Seventh Earth" with Syrian actor Taim Hassan, which was well-received by the public.

Works that brought together Qusay and Karis Karis Bashar and Qusai Khouli first met in the TV series "Alive," written by Jihan Al Jundi and directed by Rami Hanna. They presented a complex love story that arose amidst unusual social and personal circumstances.

In 2018, the duo reunited in the series "Harun al-Rashid," with Qusai Khouli playing the role of the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid and the beginnings of the conflict with his brother over the succession to the caliphate, as well as the betrayals witnessed in the palace. Meanwhile, Karis Bashar portrayed Zubaydah, the influential wife in Harun al-Rashid's life.
