The book “The Diaries of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan” was launched at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024, which tells the biography of the life of the representative of the ruler in the Al Ain region - may God have mercy on him - which is full of achievements. The Director General of the National Archives and Library also expressed their keenness to document the biographies of inspiring national figures, pointing to the issuance of diaries, starting with the diary of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which represents a comprehensive picture of the history and development of the United Arab Emirates.

These diaries are considered a reference for future generations, highlighting the values of leadership, building the nation, and protecting its capabilities. Within the framework of diversification and difference, the diaries explain the path of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed, and his activities in various fields such as politics, economics, culture, and sports, and shed light on the path of the UAE and its progress in those fields. . Diaries of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan The diaries are compiled into four volumes, with each volume containing a table of contents showing the years, followed by an introduction, and then a continuation of Sheikh Tahnun’s diaries. At the end of each volume, there is a detailed index that includes all the diaries, in addition to relevant photographs of Sheikh Tahnoun.

The first volume includes the period from 1966 to 1980 AD, while the second volume deals with the period from 1981 to 1990 AD, and the third volume contains diaries from 1991 to 2005 AD, while the fourth volume reviews the period from 2006 to 2010 AD.

It is worth noting that Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan was a loyal companion of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates. He held several prominent official positions, and in 2018, he was honored with his name on the road linking Al Ain and Dubai.
