Actress Nahid El Sebaei responded to the controversy surrounding her stance with actress Horia Farghaly, on one occasion, when Nahid refused to kiss Horia after she greeted and kissed her, saying, “No..no” and quickly left.

She added: “Regarding what happened, I did not greet each other because it was in the middle of an interview and the camera was on, and I did not want to interrupt it. It was an automatic reaction, and that is why I decided to write a general response so that everyone would understand the situation later. We greeted each other on stage.”
