He then returned to Egypt and was with his family. Artist Carole Samaha revealed that she had been by her husband's side throughout the recent period, which affected her artistic presence and reduced her continuous appearances, as she focused her greatest attention on caring for her husband and her only daughter during his illness.

Carole Samaha confirmed, in her interview a few months ago on the podcast “I Have a Question” with Mohammed Qais on Al-Mashhad TV, that her husband’s illness had clearly affected his interest in appearing, but she preferred not to announce any details regarding his illness.

Producer Walid Mustafa is one of the most prominent producers who have succeeded in the world of artistic production over the past years. He owns more than one important media project, the most prominent of which is "Energy" Radio, which is one of the most important radio stations in Egypt, and which also produces artistic works. The late producer also contributed to the establishment of more than one Egyptian newspaper and channel, which achieved a presence at the journalistic and media levels. He also participated in many different artistic projects, especially in the field of music.

In 2007, he co-founded Youm7 newspaper and served as chairman of its board of directors and managing director until 2011, a period during which online journalism witnessed unprecedented growth.

In 2011, he launched Al-Nahar TV through his own company. It was one of the most prominent channels in its early years. He continued his career by assuming the chairmanship of the board of directors of the company that owns Energy Radio, the Arabic version of the world-famous radio station, which targeted young people with innovative content.

Marriage to Carole Samaha

Mustafa married the Lebanese artist Carole Samaha in 2013 in a civil ceremony outside Egypt due to their religious differences. He has one daughter, Tala, who is 10 years old.
