"I have a big tumor on my vocal cords, and I'm not ready to ever have it removed, because the possibility of waking up from surgery not sounding like myself is a possibility," Cyrus said, suggesting that her husky voice is part of her personality.

She likened performing with the tumor on her vocal cords to "running a marathon with ankle weights," which also means that touring can be challenging, especially since she refuses to use any lip-syncing techniques and insists on performing her shows live.

Cyrus concluded her speech by affirming her full commitment to true art, saying, "I sing live. I don't lip-sync. These songs are great, and I don't write short songs."

According to the Cleveland Clinic, this condition is a “non-cancerous disorder of the vocal cords” and its most obvious symptoms include hoarseness and a noticeable raspy voice.

On the other hand, Miley Cyrus presented to her fans a song titled “End of the World” from her upcoming album titled “Something Beautiful.”

Miley wrote and produced the song alongside Sean Everett, Michael Pollack, and Jonathan Rado, as well as Molly Rankin and Alec O'Hanley of the indie band Alvvays.
