A week after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, artistic opinions continue to appear in several interviews, this time with director Saif Subaie, who confirmed that he was never a supporter of the regime of former President Bashar al-Assad.

Subaie also denounced the title “shabiha” that some people described him with and wondered, “When have I ever been a shabiha and when have I ever behaved like this?”
