Walid and Khaled Al-Halfawy, the sons of the late great star Nabil Al-Halfawy, announced the news of the death and the time of the funeral prayer on his Instagram account.

They wrote: "Unfortunately, it's not the captain who wrote this tweet. We are his sons, Walid and Khaled Al-Halfawy. God answered our father's prayers and he did not go through long suffering with illness and prolonged pain. He always prayed like this and God did not let him down. Thank you for all the love and prayers. The funeral prayer will be today, Sunday, December 15, at the Zayed Police Mosque after the evening prayer."

Who is Nabil Al-Halfawy? The deceased was born in the Sayeda neighborhood. After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce, he joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts because of his great love for acting. He graduated in 1970 and began his artistic career in theater, where he presented many plays. Then he moved to television. His first work on television was the series “Muhammad, the Messenger of God,” Part One, in 1980.
