Events of the movie "Hoopal" Hoopal takes place in Saudi Arabia after the Second Gulf War. It tells the story of a Bedouin family living in complete isolation in the heart of the desert, as Grandfather Liam believes that the end of the world is near after signs appear that confirm his claims.

Then, this isolation is tested when the family's daughter, "Reefah", is infected with a contagious disease that forces everyone not to approach her. This secretly prompts her mother to think about defying the grandfather's rules in order to save her daughter with the help of the child, "Assaf", who fears her death.
