Sulaf Fawakherji embodies the character of the first actress in the history of Syria

Actress Sulaf Fawakherji revealed some features of her character in the series “Roxy Nights,” which will be shown in Ramadan 2025.

Tota's personal details Sulaf Fawakherji said in an intervention with the “Claquette” program on Nogoum FM: “The series is written and directed by Muhammad Abdul Aziz, and a writing workshop, and it tells the story of the first non-speaking cinematic film that was made in Syria in 1928, entitled The Innocent Accused.”

She added: "The name of the character I am presenting is Tota, and she is the first actress in the history of Syria. We present her story within social stories in a conservative society in the 1920s. She loves acting and learns about international cinema. She tries to act in the street and the neighborhood with women, but her passion is greater."

Fawakhirji continued: "Because of her love for acting, her passion leads her to leave her family and lover to achieve her dream despite all the difficulties, and the series has a large comedic component."
