The death of the artist Samir Rabie, whose most famous work is Sheikh Al Arab Hammam.

Artist Adel Attia announced this morning, Wednesday, the death of artist Samir Rabie in a post on his Facebook account, where he wrote: “My dear brother and friend, artist Samir Rabie, has passed away. Please pray for his mercy and forgiveness.”

It is reported that Samir Rabie began his artistic career in the second half of the eighties and worked in cinema and television, and played secondary supporting roles. Among the most prominent works in which the deceased participated in drama were the series: “Al-Waseya, Al-Nawa, Al-Suqut fi Bir Saba’, Abu Al-Ela 90, Al-Tawam, Al-Asdekaa, Kanaria and Partners, Afareet Al-Sayala, Lel-Tharwa...Other Accounts, Al-Zahir Baybars, Ali Yawika, Yatrabba fi Ezzou, A Matter of Public Opinion, and Qalb Mayet.”

The late Samir Rabie also participated in the series: "Abouda is a Registered Trademark, Al-Rahaya Stone of Hearts, The Ultimate Love, Sheikh Al-Arab Hammam, Wadi Al-Mouk, Supervisor of a Man for This Time, Naji Atallah's Band, The Slap, Heat Wave, Blood Chain, Khalaf Allah", in addition to the films: "A Man for This Time, Beit Al-Kawamel, The Secret Session, Al-Harebat, The Worlds' Trick, Al-Hajama, 1000 Congratulations."

The last appearance of the late artist Samir Rabie on screen was in the series Without Mentioning Names in 2023, written by Wahid Hamed, directed by Tamer Mohsen, and starring Ahmed El-Fishawy, Horeya Farghaly, Ruby, Mohamed Farag, Farida Seif El-Nasr, Sahar El-Sayegh, Walid Fawaz, Abdel Aziz Makhion, Sherine Reda, Mai Selim, Mariam Hassan, and a large number of artists.
