Filming of the series “Al-Ahd” has begun in Damascus, directed by Mohammed Zuhair and produced by Qabnoud Company.

The Covenant series story

The work is from the Shami environment and simulates the period before the liberation of Damascus from the Ottoman occupation. The series extends between two time periods separated by approximately fifteen years.

The events take place in one of the alleys of Damascus, and the occupation and its dominance begin, causing conflict between the notables of the neighborhood.

The confrontation will be between Abu Ghazwan, the head of his family and the leader of the neighborhood, and Abu Khattar, the head of the Al-Hadi family.

Abu Ghazwane is always angry, while Abu Khattar is wise and intelligent.

Names of the stars participating in the work The Covenant is written by Adnan Diab and will star a group of Syrian stars including: Safaa Sultan - Saad Mina - Rana Shamis - Firas Ibrahim - Ramez Aswad - Lina Hawarneh - Rana Al-Abyad - Robin Issa - Tayseer Idris - Najah Safkouni - Sabah Barakat - Ali Karim and Tarek Maraashli.

Thus, the production company and the director are collaborating once again on a Shami environment production after several collaborations that brought them together in several works, including Bab Al-Hara 11 - Atr Al-Sham and Touq Al-Banat.
