The launch of the second session of "Arab Geniuses"

Under the patronage and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the second annual edition of the Arab Genius Award, the largest of its kind in the Arab world, is launched. It has emerged as the “Arab Nobel” for its pioneering role in highlighting and honoring Arabs, with the aim of restoring the Arab world’s position at the forefront of science, and resuming the region’s vital contribution to the march of human civilization.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed that the award is a huge project to celebrate and appreciate the Arab person in his community and among his family and to enhance his confidence in his capabilities and abilities.

His Highness said in a post on the “X” platform: “Brothers and sisters, a year ago we launched the Arab Genius Award, a huge project to celebrate and appreciate the Arab person in his community and among his family and to enhance his confidence in his capabilities and abilities. The Arab Genius Award is a seed that we are planting today for the future, and as much as we are proud of the achievements of the Arabs historically, we need to enhance the confidence of the Arab person in his role in shaping the future. Today we begin receiving nominations for the second round of this award. In its second round, the award celebrates the unique Arab minds that have achieved distinguished achievements in six pivotal categories to accelerate growth and enrich knowledge, Arab and international, namely: medicine, engineering and technology, economics, natural sciences, architecture and design, and literature and arts.”

The second edition of the Arab Geniuses Initiative continues to receive individual and institutional nominations from all over the Arab world and the world until October 31, 2024 for the various award categories.
