Turki Al-Sheikh talks about his wife and childhood for the first time

Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, spoke for the first time about some details of his personal life, especially his wife "Hadeel", whom he described as "everything for everyone", in addition to some details of his childhood and upbringing with his grandfather and grandmother.

Turki Al-Sheikh talks about his wife Turki Al-Sheikh said during his interview on the "Ammar Podcast" program, with the media figure Ammar Taqi, that his wife is the organizer of his life and the one who manages the financial money, noting that despite his extreme busyness, they certainly excuse him.

He continued, saying: “Umm Nasser is the one who organizes my entire life, and the lives of our children. She has even started giving me pocket money in recent years (my money is with her). If there is anyone who deserves me to apologize to, it is definitely my wife. I have been neglecting her and the children for 15 years, but I think they excuse me.”

He explained that his wife was a source of goodness for him and his life partner, noting that he did not apply the saying “behind every great man is a woman,” because she was walking beside him and not behind him.

Turki Al-Sheikh talks about his illness experience Regarding the illness he went through recently, Turki Al-Sheikh said: “Illness is a trial and test from God Almighty from a person and changes things in him. The illness started with me in 2015 and sometimes neglect or pressures make it more difficult.”

He explained that the disease changed him in that he wanted to do things yesterday rather than today, referring to his desire to accomplish things faster, noting that the disease made him think more about his children.

He continued: "The feeling of a father when the children grow up and take and give and send to you and miss you, Dad, the feeling of a person changes," noting that he does not sit with his children much and knows that he is neglecting this thing, but it is beyond his control due to work and health conditions.

Turki Al-Sheikh talks about his childhood Turki Al-Sheikh narrated some glimpses of his childhood, saying: “My life and childhood were from a middle-class family, normal in terms of social status. My father was an employee and retired 15 years ago from the Ministry of Youth, and my mother was a school principal.”

He explained that he initially lived in Riyadh in his grandfather and grandmother’s house, which had a strong impact on him and his personality, explaining that he did not leave them until God took their souls, saying: “My father was very strict, and I was the eldest of the grandchildren and I was naughty, and my grandfather and grandmother spoiled me.”

Regarding his mother, he confirmed that she was kind and affectionate, but she sided with his father, noting that they had changed with his children, saying: “I am surprised by the matter. My father and mother are now threatening me if I say anything to my children, and I am now saying, ‘How is this?’”

Turki Al-Sheikh criticized the media figure George Qardahi , apologizing to the Saudi people for inviting him to an entertainment event in Saudi Arabia, saying: “I now apologize to the Saudi people, one by one, for inviting Qardahi to an entertainment event to hand out awards as a presenter, and he had not visited Saudi Arabia before because of his political stances towards Syria. I invited him in good faith, and I said that his political stances represent him himself, and as long as he did not wrong Saudi Arabia at the time, we will give him the opportunity to present the event.”

He accused him of speaking in public in a way that was different from speaking in private, saying: “He used to say something in public, and other things via my personal WhatsApp number before I brought him! Whoever takes such positions against Saudi Arabia will not get an ounce of my respect! You will not find anyone who offends Saudi Arabia except that God will defeat him, for this country is preserved, God willing.”
