UAE Union Day.. A country's march full of successes and progress towards a bright future

"Spirit of the Union", a slogan launched by the UAE this year for the Union Day, whose design was derived from the vision of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and it was circulated to be an official slogan for all events and celebrations that will be held for consecutive days in all emirates of the country.

The Union Day dates back to December 2, 1971, when the seven emirates united, thanks to Sheikh Zayed, “may God rest his soul in peace.” He was the ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi at the time. And then I started building a great country with rational leadership that is satisfied only with the first positions in various fields and at all levels.

In 1971, Qatar and Bahrain withdrew to declare their sovereignty over the lands of the two states, while the rulers of the six emirates, namely: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain and Fujairah, decided on July 18, 1971 to form the United Arab Emirates and set the date for the establishment of the state federation. Ras al-Khaimah, it was in a state of hesitation.

The date of the Federation Day for the United Arab Emirates was declared on December 2, 1971, to celebrate the establishment and establishment of an independent, sovereign state, with the participation of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. As for Ras Al Khaimah, it joined the Federation of the United Arab Emirates on February 10, 1972. , so that the union becomes complete, and includes the seven emirates, and since that time the Emiratis celebrate the UAE Union Day on December 2 of each year.

The Committee announced the celebration of the National Day in a special ceremony aimed at drawing the parameters of building a common future and the 2071 plan, as the official celebration of the Union Day will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and will last for 9 days, starting from 3 to 11 December 2022.

During the 51st National Union Day celebrations, various commercial and entertainment centers also offer many live performances.
