<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">The United Arab Emirates University ranked 112th globally and first locally in the Times Higher Education Multidisciplinary Science Rankings 2025, conducted in collaboration with the Schmidt Science Fellowships. </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:971/644;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/413b3179-fdd7-44aa-9be8-17a5c51c6cb5.jpg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> This innovative ranking evaluates the contributions of universities in multidisciplinary sciences, enhancing UAEU’s drive towards excellence and leadership in scientific research and innovation.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The 2025 Interdisciplinary Science Ranking (ISR) included a total of 749 universities from 92 countries and regions, with institutions assessed on 11 performance indicators across three main areas: Funding, which includes an assessment of financial support for interdisciplinary research from academic and industry sources; Infrastructure and Support, which includes a measurement of the institution’s efforts such as facilities, administrative support and promotion that contribute to the success of interdisciplinary research; and Outputs, “Research and Reputation,” which includes the focus on interdisciplinary publications, their quality and impact across disciplines, and the institution’s reputation for supporting collaborative research.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> His Excellency Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raisi, Acting Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, said that achieving the 112th place globally and the first place locally is evidence of the UAE University’s commitment to promoting innovative and multidisciplinary scientific research that addresses pressing global challenges. This achievement reflects the university’s continuous efforts and endeavors towards achieving leadership and excellence and providing society with innovative research outputs in all fields, within an innovative and sustainable research environment.</p>
