She explained: When I presented the character of Ni’mah Al-Avocato, the idea was that I would tell the story of a woman who is betrayed by her husband, and then they try to kill her, but she turns out not to be dead. This was the general idea of the series. We did not specify the social class.

Mai added: I wanted to present something different. I suggested to Mohamed Sami that I present a popular character, and he agreed, but he told me that he didn’t want makeup at all. I agreed, of course, and I said that when people see me in the character, I will be criticized for my appearance, but I said that it doesn’t matter. I want to present a real character.

She added: I was surprised that people enjoyed the character and the reactions were very good.
