What did Lail do to get arrested in episode 23 of "And You Meet a Lover"?

The events of episode 23 of the series “Wa Taqalib Habib” began with tension escalating between Youssef (Khaled Selim) and his brother Fares (Karim Fahmy), as a dispute broke out between them during the wedding of their brother Hazem and Angie, due to Fares’ behavior towards Leil (Yasmine Abdel Aziz) at the party.

In the context of what happened, Youssef blames his brother Fares for his behavior with Lail, as he treats her kindly, contrary to the wishes of his family: Youssef, his wife Ruqayya (Nicole Saba), and his mother Ijlal (Anoushka).

On the other hand, we see Fares defending his stance with Lail, pointing out that his stance with Lail is like that of any respectable man. When Lail was insulted by their mother, who prevented her from going upstairs and taking pictures with her daughters, he had to come down and take pictures with her, especially in light of Youssef's silence.

Then, in the same scene, Youssef threatens his brother, warning him not to challenge him in the future.

In another context, we see Farah (Basant Shawky) continuing to support her sister Lail, and decides to spend the night with her. She tells her about Fares' stance towards her and his opposition to his family and his support for her against them. Farah points out that he does this because she works with him as the manager of his office in the company.

On the other hand, Layl agrees with her on the surface, but she knows very well that Fares realizes that she loves him, especially after he confessed his feelings to her, which she reciprocates.

This is followed by a scene of the moment when Lail Al-Husseini (Yasmine Abdel Aziz) was arrested on charges of stealing a diamond ring. Her villa was searched and the ring was found.

It is reported that the ring was a gift given to her by businesswoman Ahlam in appreciation of her work after she completed the entire decorations for her villa. Her two daughters collapsed when she was arrested.

Episode 23 of the series "And You Meet a Lover" also witnessed Engy (Basant Abul Basha) fainting immediately after her wedding ceremony ended. As soon as she entered her room with her husband Hazem (Mahmoud Yassin Junior), she collapsed and fell to the floor. The doctor was called and it turned out that she had taken a sedative that caused her to suffer a severe drop in blood circulation.

Events continued, and Hazem remembered what Shahd (Mona Arafa) had done during the wedding ceremony and giving her juice. He immediately went to her in the stable and pressured her to confess what she had done to his wife, but she denied it, saying that she loved him and would never hurt anyone on his behalf. However, he threatened her if he knew that she had anything to do with what had happened.
