What did Lail do when Fares confessed his love to her and met Habib? Episode 21

Episode 21 of the series "And You Meet a Lover" begins after the meeting of Lail (Yasmine Abdel Aziz) and Fares (Karim Fahmy), as Lail quickly leaves the restaurant in the rain and harsh weather conditions. She walks angrily when she sees that Fares is saying things that are not appropriate for him to say, but Fares quickly follows her and catches up with her in front of the hotel.

Continuing the scene, Fares reproaches Layl for leaving him inside the hotel, and she responds that it is not right to discuss feelings and such, but he insists on what he said, and holds her and reveals for the first time publicly that he loves her, despite Layl refusing to hear this. However, he said to her, "I love you," and Layl immediately leaves the place, as she is afraid to confess her love to him as well.

Fares and Layl meet by chance in a restaurant near the villa, and she tells him what happened with his parents, Abdel Aziz (Salah Abdallah) and Eglal (Anoushka), and their threats to her to stay away from him. Fares tells the same thing, that they asked him to do the same thing, but he doesn’t care because he is not young enough for anyone to control him.

On the other hand, Lail asks Fares to help her convince his family to let her leave the villa and settle in her grandfather and mother's house. However, Fares reminds her of their agreement that no one should separate them, and that she is not alone. Lail reveals that she felt things towards Fares that she was not supposed to feel, and Fares assures her that he felt the same. However, Lail asks him to just be friends, fearing her parents' hero, Abdul Aziz and Ijlal, and not wanting to lose her daughters.
