Lebanese artist Elissa sent a strong message of support to singer Fadl Shaker, who surrendered himself to military authorities amid anticipation of his trial. Many considered this a significant break from the artist's silence, and her first strong and frank expression of her opinion on the crisis that has dominated Arab public opinion recently.

The Lebanese artist said at a press conference: "Fadel Shaker is one of the most important Arab voices, and what is happening to him is a loss," adding: "I pity him and I cannot blame him because he certainly suffered from circumstances that led him to engage in the behaviors and actions he did."

When the audience wanted to hear more details, she quickly replied, "I can't say more."

It's worth noting that after he surrendered himself to the relevant Lebanese authorities in preparation for his trial, speculation and expectations continue regarding the legal path that Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker's case will take, following the serious accusations that have dogged him throughout his years of hiding.

On the other hand, he explained that "the path may range from holding successive sessions after which rulings are issued, to granting him conditional release on bail with a travel ban, pending the completion of investigations into other individuals involved, such as Sheikh Ahmed al-Assir and others."
